Byron Bay is a one-of-a-kind place. It's everything I like in a person or a place, slow-paced, easy-going, more than down to earth, rather naked, raw, and real. It's definitely made its mark & grown into a tourist destination but the original 1960-70's ozzie culture still thrives in everyone and everything.
Endless beaches means endless waves on the East coast of Oz, it'll overwhelm you with options. It's also sharky AF so take caution - these two brands perfectly capture what it means to be a human, who happens to love surf - tastefully born & bred out of Byron's Arts Industry.
AINSWORTH LAKE @ LENNOX HEAD - Go swim in this tea tree lake, medicinal and amazing.
SEVEN MILE BEACH - Drive down the road until you can’t drive anymore.
I picked up this book by accident while sipping a delicious coffee at Folk one morning & it knocked my socks off. Her relatable story of juggling too many things at once & staying true to her creativity/everyday inspirations - if you love food, family, and style order this book:
Farm to table, all-organic, vegan, what's currently in season, fresh, fresh, fresh, the food in Byron is perfection if you're an eco-friendly, health nut that appreciates quality nutrition and your vegetable tasting like it should.
THE TREEHOUSE - at the beach, live music every night
ELIXIBA - Plant Based Restaurant
