Coast of portugal

It is mid-winter here on the coast of Portugal. The waves are endless, long, and beautiful. Water temp is warm enough for a 3'4 and the days are fluctuating between 50-65 and sunny every single day. Why is no one here!?

THE SURF

There's several jetties that reach out into the Atlantic. You can surf almost any break within these zones. From my experience, it looks like the main area is just at the overlook, kitty corner from the Collective Surf Shop. There's a riptide to the North end and South end of the jetties that will take you right out into the line up.

in town

Yoga at Caparica Yoga with vanda

MASSAGE AT CAPARICA YOGA :: If you can make an appointment here, do it. It was by far one of the most bazaar but best massages I've ever had & only 55 euro for 2 long hours.

BE HAPPY :: Sweet cafe and pasteleria for lunch, coffee, and hang time if you need to get any work done with some free wifi. Avenida 1 de Maio n° 40F, Costa da Caparica

THE COLLECTIVE SURF SHOP :: Friendliest guys in town if you need a board or wetsuit. Also, they're legit, seems as if there's some funky surf school, shops, and people around.

Getting Around

Bus 161 and 153 will take you to and from Lisbon. The pick-up to Lisbon is near the market area at the end of the roundabout. The drop-off will take you to Alcantara neighborhood in Lisbon. It costs about 3 euro, you can pay on the bus.

Uber is about a 10-20 euro ride into Lisbon traffic depending.
