The Fifth Element was directed by French director Luc Besson. This film has incredibly progressive themes, from a mixed race cast, black president, combatting all evil with love, and the “fifth element” or supreme perfect being we’re all meant to protect is woman! …wow just wow.
From Hansen's Mmmbop, boy bands, Britney, Christina, Gwen... to Freddy Prince Jr.'s side burns, chunky shoes, and everything in between, it was the fucking best.
I'm no big-city dweller, but Brookyln is most definitely (so far) my favorite part of New York City. Immediately getting off the subway, you feel an air of realness vs. the polished and perfumed versions of NYC like Soho.
